HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF STAND OUT AS THE GROOM

It’s natural to expect the bride to stand out amongst her bridesmaids but why is it so much less common for the groom to want to stand out next to his groomsmen. There has become a culture of all the men at the wedding wearing the same matching suit and that doesn’t always have to be the case. Why not stand out as the groom just like the bride will be, and here are some tips as to how you can do that.

Colour

Within your groomsmen you don’t always have to wear the same colour wedding suit or shirt as them. There are many alternative options to help you standout. For example you can wear colours that contrast wonderfully next to your bridal party. Colours that go well together are; Navy and Grey, Grey and Black, Light Blue and Brown, Grey and Brown.

Lapel

Even something as simple as changing up your lapel can go along way to helping you stand out. Whether it’s adding some satin or just going for a different style, you are sure to pop out amongst everyone else.

3 Piece

Wearing a 3 piece adds so much to a suit sometimes and amongst a group of people in a standard jacket and pants suit everyone will notice the difference. This also allows you to play with colours if you wanted the vest to contrast the colour of the rest of the suit etc.

Tie and Bow Tie

One last thing you can do to flaunt yourself as the main attraction is to simply rotate whether you wear a bow tie or a tie with your groomsmen. A tie or bow tie can be the centre piece of your suit and choosing a different option to the other guys will go a long way to focusing more attention on yourself.
